Everton supporters groups pen open letter to Farhad Morshiri demanding ‘sweeping changes’ at board level
Everton supporters groups from across social media have banded together and penned an open letter to Blues owner Farhad Moshiri and the Blues board.
The letter pleads with Moshiri to make a drastic change to the club before things become too late; the Toffees currently sit in the Premier League drop zone.
Royalbluemersey relayed the open letter which asks for “sweeping” changes to be made to reverse the club’s decline moving forward.

“To Farhad Moshiri,” opens the letter.
“The time to save our club from its continued decline is now. For too long, despite your investment, we have seen diminishing returns, that now threaten our existence as a Premier League Club.
“We the undersigned fan & social media groups call on you to make sweeping changes at Chair, board & executive levels.
“Bring in competent, experienced professionals who can reverse our decline & make us competitive once more.
“The narrow window of opportunity you spoke of, is all but closed. Act now, whilst we still have a chance. Change the culture of the club, change the Chair, board & executive.”

Change.
Will Lampard be on the hit list of Moshiri sooner rather than later? If he doesn’t pick results up fast then he could be on his way out of Goodison Park.
Lampard’s failures to get this squad back on track won’t be viewed by fans as the former Chelsea bosses’ fault completely, the hierarchy has blood on their hands too.
And this is what the open letter above to referring too, despite the investment of Moshiri the club has only sleepwalked back into torrid times.
Changes in the upper echelons are drastically needed to get the Blues back on track by bringing in “professionals” as the letter has stated who actually have some form of resume in the football world.
Because at the moment, Everton is probably the least attractive package for any manager or sporting director to consider taking on.
Many have tried and seemed to face the same fate, if this doesn’t suggest that changes need to be made, then who knows what does.
