Journalist makes Everton fans admission after letter sent to Farhad Moshiri

Peter Guy has lauded the Everton fans for taking matters into their own hands and sending a letter to owner Farhad Moshiri.

Given the club’s downward spiral and Moshiri’s inability to come out and address the problems publically, the Everton Fans Forum have asked him to speak to them directly.

They claim that the global Toffees fanbase is facing similar concerns and they deserve answers from the man in charge.

Via Twitter, journalist Peter Guy wrote, “Huge respect to the Everton Fans Forum for penning this open letter to Moshiri.

“It’d be easy to sit back and see independent fan groups challenge the hierarchy. Well played to all concerned.”

Speak up

We are baffled how Moshiri can be quiet during what seems to be his lowest point as the owner of the club.

It’s not that he hasn’t spent the money, but it’s about where it’s been spent and the fact that decisions were being made based on friendships and connections rather than what was best for the team.

The right people were also appointed to make major calls and we saw how it’s all ended in a colossal failure.

Everton

Everton are unfortunately now the example of how not to run a football club and something needs to change and it needs to come from the top.

There have been talks about a takeover and the sooner it happens, the better it is for all parties involved but it’s going to have to be a deal that suits Moshiri.

Right now, he’s also got a major decision to make about Frank Lampard with Wayne Rooney understood to be the one he wants to bring to Goodison Park.
