Everton striker Nathan Broadhead could soon be announced as Ipswich Town player
Everton striker Nathan Broadhead is reportedly on his way to Ipswich Town and an announcement over the signing could be made very soon.
According to Sunderland Echo journalist James Copley, the 24-year-old’s imminent transfer appears to be a “done deal” with all parties in agreement over the move.
Unless there isn’t any drama at the last minute, it could even be announced within a matter of hours.
Via Twitter, Copley wrote, “Expecting Ipswich Town to announce ex-Sunderland loanee Nathan Broadhead in the coming hours/days barring any very last-minute drama. Sounds like a done deal.”
Makes sense
After Salomon Rondon, the 24-year-old will now be the second Everton attacker to part ways with the club for good in the January transfer window.
The Venezuelan’s contract was mutually terminated by the club and that was the right decision as he was unnecessarily taking up space on the club’s payroll.
Even with Broadhead, selling him does appear to be the right thing as he did not progress many at the club would’ve wanted him to.

They even loaned him out several times, but to no avail and a permanent exit does seem to be the best move now for all parties.
Alan Myers recently shared a major update on Broadhead’s future and we do not see a way back for him at the club.
Hopefully, Everton have managed to make something from this sale as he’s been on the books far too long without becoming a regular first-team player.
