Fresh update over Everton move for Kamaldeen Sulemana emerges as player eyes January exit
Kamaldeen Sulemana is one of the players Everton “like” – but no deal is imminent at this stage, according to a report from the Liverpool Echo.
The Daily Mail reported on 16 January that the Toffees have asked Rennes about taking their winger on loan as Frank Lampard is keen to bolster his forward department.
The 20-year-old, who has 15 caps for Ghana national team already, is valued at £40m. He is “open to leaving” the club in January, even though he has struggled with injuries this season.

Reinforcement needed
The Toffees are badly struggling in the Premier League at the moment, and if the club fail to sign a few players, then it could be a long hard battle for survival.
They are struggling to score goals and there is hardly any creativity upfront.
Anthony Gordon, who impressed heavily last season, has failed to recapture his own form.
Demarai Gray has come up with stunning goals at times but he has been largely inconsistent.
Summer signing Dwight McNeil hasn’t been impressive either, and Lampard is left with little option but to delve into the transfer market to sign new players.

Ideally, the Toffees need to add strikers to their ranks, but the attacking midfield areas also need bolstering.
At the moment, Everton do not offer any threat going forward. The football played under Lampard is unimaginative, and pedestrian.
The Toffees have failed to win in their last nine games in all competitions, and their last Premier League win has come on 22 October against Crystal Palace.
It’s hard to see how long Lampard can survive if the results do not improve.
