Everton transfer news as Cliftonville attacker Sean Moore watched

Everton are monitoring developments of Cliftonville winger Sean Moore this month, according to the Belfast Telegraph on Thursday 19 January.

The young talent from Northern Ireland is drumming up quite a cross-channel stir with Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Oxford United interested in signing him.

The Northern Ireland U18 international has made 22 appearances for Cliftonville’s first team, scoring two goals and providing three assists along the way.

Clean slate.

A clean slate is needed at the Toffees, a huge reset, from the top to the bottom of the club and it’s the only way the team are going to progress out of this mess.

Farhad Moshiri has had his input on the team and failed massively, granted he has provided the finances for transfers but they have simply been terrible moves.

The wall between supporters and the board is now at an all-time high and there is little that can be done to mend the cracks and creaks that it has plagued on top of it.

Unfortunately, the way the club looks at the moment is simply not an attractive package to any would-be investor, it’s a mess that many would rather avoid.

This goes for players the club are looking to sign, in reality, what talents would want to join the ranks at Everton right now? The team is sleepwalking towards relegation.

The Blues can only hope they survive this Premier League season and have the summer to reassess the situation, something that should have been done a long time ago anyway.
