Everton join Leeds United in race to sign Belgian goalkeeper Senne Lammens
Everton have joined the race to sign Club Brugge goalkeeper Senne Lammens in the January transfer window, as reported by Het Nieuwsblad.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper will be a free agent in the summer, but the Toffees want him now. He is a player in “high demand”, and Leeds United are also keen to sign him.
The Toffees have already made an approach to sign the youngster, and they want a deal to be done this month.

Lammens is currently behind Simon Mignolet at Brugge in the pecking order, and he is looking for a club where he will get regular games.
Interesting
It looks highly unlikely that the Toffees will sign a new goalkeeper this month.
Probably the contact was made by the club when Frank Lampard was in charge. Following his departure, the situation might have changed.
Sean Dyche is set to be appointed as the new manager of the club, and he will definitely have his own set of ideas.
Jordan Pickford remains the club’s first-choice goalkeeper but doubts remain about how long he will remain at Goodison Park.

The England goalkeeper is yet to sign a new deal and there could a lot of interest in him from several Premier League clubs during the summer.
Asmir Begovic, the second-choice goalkeeper, has also received attention from elsewhere. If he leaves, then Everton can look to sign him this month.
The first priority for the club will be to bolster the forward department.
With time running out in the January window, it remains to be seen if Dyche can sign one or two players who can genuinely improve the squad.
