Everton: Bill Kenwright happy with manager development after private Farhad Moshiri vow
Bill Kenwright is happy with the manager developments of Sean Dyche becoming the new Everton boss after Farhad Moshiri made a private vow, according to the Daily Mail.
The Athletic reported on 27 January that Dyche is set to be announced as the new Toffees boss in the next 24 hours after Frank Lampard’s sacking, instead of Marcelo Bielsa.
Now, the Daily Mail has shared that Moshiri privately vowed to wash his hands of the responsibility for future appointments after he and Kenwright hit an explosive peak over the Blues’ last managerial appointment, although that hasn’t seemed to be the case this week.

“Thelwell is theoretically leading Everton’s search for a new manager but theory and reality can be different. Marcelo Bielsa, once of Leeds, was favoured by Moshiri while Kenwright is now happier that Sean Dyche, an Englishman, is in the frame,” as quoted by the Daily Mail. (27 January)
“The two men’s differing views on managers reached an explosive peak around the time of the Pereira/Lampard debacle a year ago with Moshiri vowing privately to wash his hands of responsibility for such appointments in the future.”

Shock.
This news will come as no surprise to Evertonians, who have become far too accustomed in recent years to the wrongdoings of Kenwright.
It’s pretty clear that there is instability at the top of the club and whilst there will always be disagreements in business decisions, the difference between the managers mentioned is telling.
Frank Lampard and Vítor Pereira play two completely different brands of football, as do Dyche and other rumoured Everton managerial target Bielsa.
Do you see the point here? There is evidently no clear direction in which the club wants to move forward, zero philosophy and a complete lack of ideas of how to change the team’s fortunes.
Unfortunately, with these two at the helm, nothing will change any time soon and clearly, they are both on opposite ends of the spectrum in what type of football they want the team to be playing.
Time will tell if this will pay off.
