Everton want to sign Union Berlin forward Sheraldo Becker – Sky Sports Germany
Everton are showing keen interest in signing Union Berlin forward Sheraldo Becker as “things could get wild” in the final few hours of the January window, according to Sky Sports Germany.
Sky Germany reported on their transfer live blog (30 January, 6.35 pm), that the Toffees would like to lure the striker to Goodison Park before Tuesday’s (31 January) deadline.
Transfer expert Florian Plettenberg is unsure whether the deal will go through as Union are reluctant to lose their key player who has managed eight goals and six assists in 26 games this season.

Signings needed
Everton have confirmed the signing of Sean Dyche on Monday (30 January), but surely he has been working closely with Kevin Thelwell to bring in new players for the past few days.
The club have money to spend this month following the departure of Anthony Gordon who has joined Newcastle United.

The club need to reinforce in their forward areas as also in midfield, but it’s not possible to add so many players in such a short time.
The Toffees need to get a striker before tomorrow, that’s a priority. They can still cope without adding a central midfielder, but they badly need to add a forward. The club cannot rely on injury-prone Dominic Calvert-Lewin and out-of-form Neil Maupay for the rest of the season.
The club were close to signing Arnaut Danjuma this month but he made a U-turn to join Tottenham Hotspur instead.
Becker is in fantastic form this season for Berlin, but can Everton lure him to the Premier League remains to be seen.
