Everton will let Joe Anderson join Sunderland in late January transfer news

Everton will let 21-year-old defender Joe Anderson leave Goodison Park to join Sunderland, according to Daily Mail, the Verdict, pg. 10, 30 January.

it’s unclear what fee the Blues will get as the youngster gets set to leave the club but this seems like an attempt to free up some transfer funds for Sean Dyche.

Dyche is yet to be announced as the new Everton manager and will likely be looking at getting some business done in the next 24 hours once that happens as expected.

“Everton have rejected a move from PSV for Branthwaite but will let defender Joe Anderson join Sunderland,” as quoted by Daily Mail, the Verdict, pg. 10, 30 January.

With Anthony Gordon sealing his way out of the Blue half of Merseyside there will undoubtedly be some funds now for Dyche to utilise in the closing hours of the transfer window.

Everton

Tough ask.

Dyche has a mammoth task currently on his hands and it will be tough to convince anyone of a move to Goodison as things stand.

The Englishman will have to sell his plan to any would-be talent with time very much not on his side in this one, a tough ask for even the best negotiators.

Nevertheless, Everton and Dyche must find a way or luring new talents to the club it’s a necessity if they are to stay in the Premier League this season.

With teams in and around the relegation zone all strengthening this month, the Blues risk falling even further behind their competitors by standing still.

In the wild and crazy world of the transfer window, the next 48 hours should be a fun one if you are an Evertonian, with luck, there will be a new few faces arriving at Finch Farm.

Better late than never? The Toffees can only maybe say this once the transfer shuts close.
