Sean Dyche stance on former West Ham attacker Andre Ayew emerges as Everton handed transfer blow
Everton boss Sean Dyche will reportedly not be signing former West Ham striker Andrew Ayew on transfer deadline day.
According to the Liverpool Echo [31 January], Viktor Gyokeres and Kamaldeen Sulemana will also not be moving to Goodison Park.
The Toffees are understood to be keen on bringing in at least two new faces before the transfer window closes at 11 pm.
No plan?
Everton have just dug themselves a huge role without having a proper transfer strategy throughout the month and are now targeting Ayew because he’s a free agent and has 89 Premier League appearances under his belt.
Knowing that they’re headed for relegation if they don’t improve, they have not brought in a single player until the last day of the window.

Apart from that, they’ve also sacked their manager midway through the window and given his successor just two days officially in charge to figure something out.
We will not be surprised if Farhad Moshiri uses his agent contacts to sign someone at the last minute without a thorough scouting process.
This strategy is destined to fail as it has in the past and Dyche now needs to work miracles with this side if he is to keep them up.
Hopefully, things pick up in the next few hours otherwise they’re going to find it extremely difficult to avoid the drop as clubs around them have been strengthening.
