Sean Dyche has chance to do what no other manager has done under Farhad Moshiri at Everton
Sean Dyche has the chance to do what no other manager has done under Farhad Moshiri and reach the end of his Everton contract, according to Liverpool Echo journalist Joe Thomas.
Dyche has been handed a two-year contract by Everton, something which may improve depending on what happens come to the end of this season.
A successful period at Goodison Park for Dyche would mean that he guides the Blues into their new Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium.
“Dyche has signed a two-and-a-half year deal with Everton – one that means that, should he achieve what no other manager has under Moshiri and reach the end of his contract, he will likely lead the club into its new stadium,” as quoted by the Liverpool Echo. (4 February)
“At the moment his focus is purely on the short term – Arsenal on Saturday, then the Merseyside derby, then every other step on the road to Premier League survival. But there is a wider vision underpinning his approach, one soaked in the rich past of a club he wants to create a better future for.”

In the next few hours, things will become a lot clearer as to how Dyche will set up this failing Everton side and just how he will be combatting potential relegation.
Not too much can be drawn from a manager’s opening game, especially against a side as top tier as Arsenal, but it’s likely Dyche will set up this Blues side to frustrate.
And this brand of football, although not the prettiest, does get results in the Premier League and it’s the type of philosophy that can keep Everton up.
There is no denying that Dyche has it all to do right now but he seems like the type of coach who loves to prove the naysayers wrong.
And it’s this kind of attitude that bodes well for the Toffees’ survival chances and it’s something Dyche will need to carry in abundance to get through this tough period of fixtures.
Tighten your seatbelts, the Dyche era is about to commence.
