Richard Keys sends Sean Dyche damning message ahead of Everton v Arsenal

Richard Keys believes it might all be too late for new Everton boss Sean Dyche to save the club from impending doom ahead of his first game.

Keys suggested that Dyche got relegated with an arguably better side in Burnley than the one he now has with the Toffees in the Premier League.

And the football anchor might not be far off the mark here, Dyche faces an uphill struggle before things have even commenced for him at Goodison Park.

“Love Dychey & hope it ends well at Everton but I fear it’s already too late,” said Keys on Twitter. (4 February, 8:40 AM)

“He went down with arguably a better side last season.”

Optimism.

Let’s try and be optimistic here, a lot of people seem to be writing Dyche off before things have even begun for him at Goodison Park.

If any manager is going to make the most out of a woeful situation, it’s Dyche and his no-nonsense attitude is exactly what’s needed at the club right now.

Rejuvenating confidence in forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin will help towards the Toffees cause and Dyche will have to use his savvy man-management skills to pull that one off.

An in-form, fit and firing Calvert-Lewin however, would be like a new signing for the Blues, especially when goals have been so hard to come by this campaign.

No one is expecting miracles against Arsenal today but a solid performance and any points would go a long way towards instilling some faith back into the Blue half of Merseyside.

Evertonians will be dreaming of a new manager bounce like anything seen in the Premier League before, can Dyche bring the good times back? Time will tell.
