Michael Ball makes Paul Pogba and Amadou Onana comparison after Everton win v Arsenal
Michael Ball believes Amadou Onana plays a lot like France World Cup winner Paul Pogba in the way he “glides” around the pitch with relative ease.
The Belgian international was the star performer in a classy win for Everton over Arsenal, again highlighting his importance to this Blues outfit this season.
Ball confessed that Onana understands the situation the club are in right now and Sean Dyche will be looking to get the very best out of him.
“He has got the talent and reminds me a little bit of Pogba in the way he glides around the pitch with a sense of confidence,” as quoted by the Liverpool Echo. (6 February)
“Right near the end of the game, he won a tackle that was celebrated like a goal. That was due to the effort he showed in the late stages, and Dyche will be looking to continue getting the best out of him. He deserves all the plaudits based on his Arsenal performance.”
Phenom.

The all-action midfielder has been a bright note in an otherwise dreary and dull Everton season and yet again showed his potential and class against Arsenal.
Onana is simply built for the Premier League with his long, athletic frame, tireless work rate and eye for a line breaking pass, the Blues have got themselves a winner here.
And this is something that fans have known for a long time, unfortunately, Onana has just been playing part of a team that has been failing on all cylinders possible.
Nevertheless, with the Dyche new manager bounce in full swing, Evertonians could finally be about to see the best of the Belgian, especially if the Arsenal clash is anything to go by.
The only issue Everton face with Onana right now is keeping him at the club past this summer, the more terrific performances he puts in, the more attention from Premier League vultures there will be.
