Everton target Daichi Kamada decides to leave in the summer, to be available on free transfer
Everton could now look to sign Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Daichi Kamada on a free transfer in the summer as he’s reportedly made a decision.
According to Sport 1 journalist Christopher Michel, there is an upheaval at the club as along with the Japan attacking midfielder, other players are also expected to leave.
The Toffees had already knocked on the door (Fussball Transfers – November 2022) over the possibility of signing him in the January transfer window and there’s a very good chance of them coming in once again in the summer.
Via Twitter, Michel wrote, “The rumours Geiger and Shkiri finally show: Kamada will not extend his contract with #Frankfurt, Sow is also aiming for a departure. The upheaval at headquarters begins.”
Kamada represented Japan at the World Cup in Qatar and had a pretty good tournament there so we’re not surprised to see him getting out of the Bundesliga.
He knows that the Premier League awaits with links to Tottenham Hotspur as well but they have signed Arnaut Danjuma and may look to make that deal permanent in the summer.

This means that the Toffees could have a free run to sign him unless other sides do not come in for his services.
It’s evident that Everton need a new attacker in the summer and Kamada represents the perfect option as he can play as a striker as well.
He’s also 26 so will be nearing his prime and can kick on in the Premier League as the style of football would suit him and he would be an important asset for Sean Dyche as well.
