Piotr Zielinski could be convinced by Everton chance, he dreams of Premier League chance
Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski has “dreamt” of playing in the Premier League and could be convinced by the chance to move to Everton, according to Il Mattino.
The 28-year-old is out of contract in the summer of 2024 and has previously been linked with West Ham United. Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth revealed (via Twitter) that the Hammers’ move could well have been his last opportunity to move to the Premier League.
Il Mattino have since suggested (9 February) that Zielinski still wants to move to England and that the “previous wishes” of Everton could see him make the switch.

“Piotr has always dreamt of a chance in England and the previous wishes of clubs such as Everton and Liverpool could convince him to move to the Premier League for the last part of his career,” they wrote.

The Poland international would be a top-class addition to Sean Dyche’s team, but realistically this one isn’t happening. He will want to be playing Champions League football and at the moment that’s a long way off at Goodison Park while Napoli are currently top of Serie A.
If the Toffees can secure their Premier League status and start building over the summer, then there’s a chance this move could be revisited.
Dyche’s focus will not be on transfers at the moment. The Merseyside Derby on Monday provides the Toffees with another opportunity to ease their relegation woes. Surprisingly, the Toffees are heading to Anfield feeling slightly more positive about their chances.

Liverpool are struggling at the moment and the pressure is firmly on Jurgen Klopp to turn things around. Furthermore, The Reds are likely to be without Thiago, who missed training on Thursday ahead of the fixture at Anfield.
If the Toffees can make their set pieces count and stay firm defensively, they stand a good chance of picking up at least a point.
