Everton relegation prediction made by Super Computer after Liverpool defeat

Everton have been predicted to get relegated from the Premier League this season after they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Liverpool on Monday, 13 February.

FiveThirtyEight’s Super Computer has crunched the numbers and given the Toffees just a 44 per cent chance of avoiding the drop.

They predict that Everton will finish in 18th place with 33 points – five behind Nottingham Forest in 17th.

Big game ahead

Everton face Leeds United over the weekend and that’s a game Dyche knows that he’s got to be winning.

They showed that they can get the job done against Arsenal but when they faced off against Liverpool, it was yet another abject performance.

A repeat of that cannot be tolerated against Leeds, especially as they might have their new manager in place for the game.

The new manager bounce is something that Everton have already experienced and Leeds could also benefit from it over the weekend.

Thus far, we have no idea as to what profile of manager they’re looking at as they’ve been linked with a host of names.

However, what Dyche can do is focus on his side and ensure that he gets the best out of them and works more on what they do on the ball as without Dominic Calvert-Lewin they looked bereft of ideas.
