PSV want to sign Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite as he works way up to become undisputed first choice
PSV are reportedly keen on making the loan move for Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite after he’s proven himself in the Netherlands.
According to VI [15 October], the 20-year-old has worked his way up to become the undisputed first choice at the club and is admired by manager Ruud van Nistelrooy.
He has made senior appearances for the Toffees but has been sent on loan in order to gain first-team experience.

Keep him
Branthwaite is a young defender who has gotten better over the last few years and is good enough to be a squad player at Everton.
If at 20 he’s managing to do that, surely in the next season or two, he would be in contention to be a first-team regular.
This will sort the long-term future of a key area of the squad and the decision makers at Goodison Park must not consider his sale.

Hopefully, Everton aren’t under too much of a financial constraint as they may be compelled into cashing in on him in the summer.
Relegation would certainly put a major dent in their planning for the future and they need to do everything they can to avoid that.
It’s understood that a £15million bid was tabled on deadline day and that could be viewed as good money for a team in the second tier.
