Everton transfer news as Sean Dyche reveals Jarrad Branthwaite conversation
Sean Dyche has shared that he’s had a conversation with Everton loan star Jarrad Branthwaite as the youngster emerges as a top talent at PSV Eindhoven.
The Daily Mail reported on 8 February that scouts from Liverpool, Manchester United and AS Roma had all been to Holland to watch Branthwaite play.
In his pre-match press conference for the Premier League clash against Leeds United Dyche confessed that he’s had a “catch up” with Branthwaite.
“I’ve spoken to Jarrad Branthwaite to catch up, say hello,” said Dyche as quoted by Liverpool Echo journalist Christopher Beesley on Twitter. (16 February, 2:06 PM)
Branthwaite has thrived under the watchful eye of former Manchester United ace Ruud van Nistelrooy at PSV and the Toffees may want to keep hold of the talented centre-back.

Keep him.
Branthwaite was a highly-regarded young central defender who was originally signed for the Blues by Carlo Ancelotti back in January 2020.
Despite being highly talented the manager roundabout at Everton did little to help the youngster and this is arguably the reason why he left on loan.
Nevertheless, his time in the Eredivisie has obviously done wonders for his development and it’s no real shock that he’s been gaining attention from around Europe.
Branthwaite is a left-footed centre-back, a trait that is precious in the modern Premier League and something Everton must want to reap the rewards of in the coming seasons.
The problem Branthwaite faces in convincing Everton that he can be their go-to man at the back for seasons to come, with the club already having multiple centre-back options.
Although, the Toffees will likely lose Yerry Mina in the summer and Conor Coady’s deal at the club is yet to be made permanent by the Blues.
Is that a crack-in-the-door opening for Branthwaite at Goodison Park? Many would argue it is.
