Jeff Stelling predicts result of Everton Premier League clash v Leeds United for Sky Sports

Jeff Stelling has predicted the outcome of the Everton clash in the Premier League against Leeds United on 18 February for Sky Sports and believes the Whites will come out on top.

The clash promises to be a fiery affair with both teams desperately needing a win to ease fears of relegation to the Championship next season.

Stelling reckons the tie with be a close affair but thinks Leeds United will come out as 1-0 winners on Saturday afternoon.

Michael Skubala will remain in the dugout for the fixture at Goodison Park with Leeds United seemingly no closer to appointing a new manager.

Sean Dyche will be hoping for a similar Goodison reaction to the one a few weeks back which saw the Toffees overcome Arsenal in a thrilling fixture.

Everton

Must-win.

There is simply no way other way to put it, Everton must win this Premier League clash against Leeds United on Saturday afternoon.

Dyche and the Blues must look towards the 12th man of Goodison Park for some inspiration in this one, something that has guided them across the line many times before.

A performance similar to the one that saw the Toffees overcome the Gunners should be enough to put Leeds United away on the day.

It’s hard to predict which Leeds team will turn up on 18 February, they have looked up and down all season and have never really put a string of good results together.

There is no hiding away from the fact that this is a relegation six-pointer though and a win for either side should propel them to better Premier League days.

Evertonians will be hoping Stelling has got his prediction wrong in this one.
