Everton transfer news as journalist expects ‘sizeable fee’ for forgotten Moise Kean
Liverpool Echo journalist Joe Thomas believes Everton will be able to demand a “sizeable fee” for forward Moise Kean this summer.
Calciomercato reported on 17 February that Kean is facing an uncertain future at Juventus, the club where he has been on loan from the Toffees.
Thomas confessed to a fan on Twitter that cancelling Kean’s loan isn’t an option after the question was posed about bringing him back for this season.

“Not an option Ste but at the very least will bring in a sizeable sum at the end of the season,” said Thomas on Twitter. (17 February, 10:26 PM)
Things didn’t go according to plan for Kean at Goodison the first time around so it’s unlikely a second coming at the club would be good for anyone involved.

Good news.
Hopefully, Thomas is right on this one and Kean can bring in some much-needed funds to Goodison this summer to splash on new signings.
The forward’s career so far has been bizarre, to say the least, and for all the hype he brought with him to Merseyside, things simply haven’t gone to plan for him.
On his day, Kean can be an absolute menace to defenders and on paper, he has all the attributes to thrive in the rough and tough Premier League.
Nevertheless, for whatever reason, things just never clicked for Kean at Everton and fans unfortunately never got to see the best side of him.
To make up for this poor form, the least Kean can do is help the Toffees out a little with a bit of cash from his outgoing transfer, something which would take the sour taste out of Evertonians’ mouths slightly.
But with the forward’s form on the rocks, finding a club that will want to take a risk and spend big on Kean may be tricky.
