Everton: Sean Dyche faces Seamus Coleman and Nathan Patterson selection dilemma
Everton boss Sean Dyche has a selection headache on his hands with Seamus Coleman outperforming expectations and youngster Nathan Patterson nearing his Premier League return.
Veteran Evertonian Coleman grabbed the winner against Leeds United in a relegation must-win scrap and yet again highlighted his importance to the Blues squad.
£16m man Patterson, however, beat out Coleman to a starting spot under Frank Lampard and excelled for the Toffees early on in the Premier League campaign.

Dyche seems set in his ways so far as Everton boss which may allude to Coleman keeping his starting spot despite a Patterson return to action.
In his three games since taking over from Lampard, Dyche has opted for the same midfield three and same backline four for games against, Arsenal, Liverpool and Leeds United.
Coleman arguably is the perfect right-back for Dyche’s system too but offers far less pace than the younger and exuberant Patterson.

Sticky one.
It’s a sticky call for Dyche to make especially given Coleman’s contribution to the team at the weekend against Leeds United in the must-win clash.
Nevertheless, it would be hard to overlook the talented Patterson, who was arguably Everton’s best player in the opening months of the Premier League season.
Something says that Dyche will continue to start Coleman though, the Irishman just seems like a Dyche kind of player and has done little to warrant being dropped.
This is bad news and an unfortunate set of circumstances for the young Patterson, who if fit, would have likely been a shoo-in to start games when Dyche arrived at Goodison Park.
If anything, it’s at least nice to have some solid squad depth in the right-back position and with the Premier League schedule only heating up, having multiple options to play will only help the Blues.
Whoever Dyche ends up opting for, Evertonians know they will get a player who will give their all for the badge in either Coleman or Patterson.
