Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford is close to agreeing a new long-term contract at the club, and he is set to commit to his future within the next week, according to Sky Sports.

The news will come as a huge boost for Sean Dyche and Sky Sports have “been told” that the Toffees boss is well-liked by Pickford.

The England first-choice goalkeeper has been linked with a move to Tottenham, but he has always been keen to stay at Goodison Park despite the club’s precarious situation.
