New footage emerges on YouTube as section of Everton stadium construction ‘finished
New footage of Everton football club’s Bramley Moore Dock Stadium has shown that the north stand roof truss is now finished.
Everton Stadium’s official Twitter account shared on Thursday (23 February) that the second, full-span roof truss is now in place in the north stand, which means the basic roof structure is now complete.
YouTuber Nick Durbin has now released a video flyover of the Bramley Moore Dock stadium on Sunday (26 February), in which he stated the north stand section was “finished”.
“The north stand roof truss is now finished,” he said. “They lifted the last piece up yesterday morning.
“So that does leave just four more roof truss lifts all on the south stand, so it’s definitely getting there.”
Brilliant news
Everton’s struggles at Goodison Park have been well-recorded this season, but the updates coming from the Bramley Moore Dock are a constant source of optimism.
The new stadium’s construction seems to be moving along swimmingly, and the north stand truss being put in place is yet another step forward in the club’s road to a new permanent home.
Although the financing of the stadium continues to raise legitimate questions, Toffees fans will be buoyed by the quick progress that is being made.
The pressing question for all involved in the development is whether Everton will be playing Premier League or Championship football when they eventually move into their new stadium. Under Sean Dyche the Merseyside club are in good hands, but the club’s past failings to sign the right personnel at the right time could come back to bite them as the season draws to a close.
Either way, the Bramley Moore Dock Stadium is proving to be a hive of positivity, and hopefully, it will continue to rocket along in its construction over the coming months.
