Super Computer makes Everton relegation prediction after Aston Villa defeat

Everton are predicted to end up in 18th place and therefore get relegated from the Premier League after their 2-0 defeat against Aston Villa on Saturday.

FiveThirtyEight crunched the numbers on their Super Computer and their results show the Toffees have a 54 per cent chance of going down.

Along with them, it’s predicted that Southampton and Bournemouth will be the other two sides from the English top flight.

Dyche took over and his first two home games resulted in wins against Arsenal and Leeds United.

However, against Aston Villa, they came crashing back to Earth and it’s now time for him to prove he deserves to be at Goodison Park.

He was unlucky not to be backed by the club in the January window but he cannot hide behind that for the rest of the season.

There are some exceptionally talented players in this Toffees side, all of whom are capable of getting the job done.

Hopefully, Dominic Calvert-Lewin returns from injury soon as he’s going to be extremely important in their run to avoid relegation.

Everton cannot afford repeats of the performance against Villa and Dyche will surely be working doubly as hard on the training pitch.

The image above shows that they need to pick up just a couple more wins than the team finishing 17th and that’s surely possible.
