Everton told to pay £67m to sign Tammy Abraham in summer as Roma buy-back clause emerges
Everton and Aston Villa are reportedly interested in signing AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham, with the Italian giants slapping a £67m price tag on him for the summer, according to iNews.
The 25-year-old enjoyed a successful loan spell at Villa Park during the 2018/19 Sky Bet Championship campaign where he was on loan from Chelsea, scoring 25 league goals and helping them win promotion to the top flight.
Abraham has enjoyed a fruitful two-year period at Roma under Jose Mourinho. With the Toffees in desperate need of attacking reinforcements, the striker could well be set for a return to the Premier League this summer.

According to iNews [2 March], both Everton and Aston Villa are targeting the England international this summer.
The Serie A giants are demanding a fee of around £67m to sell, which is the reported figure of his buy-back clause which could be activated by his former parent club Chelsea.
Everton reportedly made a number of enquiries for forwards in the January transfer window without success and iNews understands that contact was established with Roma over Abraham.
Not realistic
Considering the desire Abraham currently holds of a dream move back to England in the near future, a move to Everton is incredibly unlikely and a pipe dream for the Blues.
With the striker also possessing dreams and the capabilities to play top-level European football next season, the Toffees simply cannot offer him that, which means they have to focus their efforts on more realistic targets.

With the club facing an unwanted relegation dogfight, they really don’t have the pull to acquire top elite targets like Abraham.
But, who knows, the picture may change if they do secure their Premier League status again next season, but £67m is a lot of money, even despite selling Anthony Gordon for big money in January.
However, a move for the 25-year-old is very unlikely in the off-season.
