Everton confirmed team news v Nottingham Forest: Two players ruled out with Dominic Calvert-Lewin status shared
Sean Dyche has shared an injury update for his Everton side ahead of the six pointer against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on 5 March.
Steve Cooper’s men are currently ahead of the Toffees in the Premier League, but much like their opponents on Sunday, go into this one on the back of a 4-0 defeat and both sides will be aiming to get things back on track and will want to beat their relegation rivals.
James Garner and Nathan Patterson are still not ready for this game while Dominic Calvert-Lewin may or may not feature.
He said via the Liverpool Echo, “Patto is a little bit behind but he played 70 minutes last night. Garner is a little bit closer.”
When asked about Calvert-Lewin, Dyche replied that he’s recovering and when pressed as to whether or not he’ll play he replied, “We’ll see.”

Forest may be 13th in the league but they currently have 25 points which is just four more than what Everton do after 25 games.
While Cooper’s side have a game in hand, a defeat for them would reduce the gap to just one and there are no guarantees of them picking up anything from the extra match.
They’re far from secure in this Premier League title hunt and they know that just as much as all the other teams in the bottom eight.
It’s extremely tight going into the business end of the season and Dyche has been in this situation on numerous occasions in the past.
Hopefully, he has some luck with his attacking players as goals have come at a premium for Everton this season and that’s due to the lack of fitness from Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Neal Maupay is clearly not a good enough replacement and not signing anyone in January is certainly costing them a great deal.
