Stan Collymore messages Everton fans, says what he doesn't want to be called at Nottingham Forest

Former Liverpool Stan Collymore has sent a message to the Everton fans ahead of their clash against Nottingham Forest at the weekend.

Collymore has represented both Forest and Liverpool so he has implored the fans not to take digs at him during the game.

Both sides go into this game in desperate need of the three points as they’re in a relegation battle.

Collymore wrote on Twitter, “Delighted to be invited to come out at half time between Forest and Everton on Sunday to give the Trent End a wave. Never got to say goodbye properly so it means a lot to me and hopefully a few Trent Enders!

“PS, to travelling Toffees, I’ve always had your back so no “Red and white ******* please.”

Everton fans can tend to get tetchy when things aren’t going their way and they will do everything they can to berate the opponents.

Collymore will be a soft target for them, but it seems unlikely that they will be taking their anger out on him.

It’s well documented that Farhad Moshiri and the Everton board are loathed by the fans more than any player on the side and all anger will be directed at them.

It’s however not what they will want to do as staying in the Premier League is of paramount importance, especially with the new stadium coming up.

Never-seen-before footage has now emerged showing just how scenic the site is at Bramley Moore Dock and it will be a shame to see it being a Championship stadium.

Sean Dyche has been in this situation before and we’re confident that he can get his side out of it.
