Roy Keane slams Michael Keane as ‘really poor’ Everton footage aired v Nottingham Forest
Roy Keane slammed Michael Keane after the Everton defender was dragged out of position when Brennan Johnson scored his first goal for Nottingham Forest in the 2-2 draw at the City Ground on Sunday.
Johnson levelled the score in the 19th minute after he pounced on a rebounded save by Jordan Pickford.
There was a clever bit of play by Forest on the edge of the box that led to a Morgan Gibbs-White shot that was tipped away from Pickford.

Everton’s defenders failed to react to the rebound and Michael Keane has been singled out by Roy Keane for not doing well enough to prevent the goal.
Speaking on Sky Sports Premier League at half-time on Sunday (4 March, 02:53pm), Manchester United legend Keane said: “Lovely bit of play, quick one-two.
“There were always question marks about whether [Johnson] could score goals in the Premier League and he’s doing that now. It’s a great reaction.
“Really poor from Everton. Keane gets dragged out, gets done with the one-two.
“But very good play from Forest.”

Endemic
Everton’s defensive issues don’t seem to discriminate against who the manager is, who’s playing for them and who they’re playing against.
Even in the first half an hour or so against Arsenal, the Blues defended very well because they capitulated and ended up being made to look like a Sunday League side.
We’d have thought that Sean Dyche would have started to coach these issues out of the side but we’re not sure how can teach players how to concentrate.
It happened with Idrissa Gueye against Arsenal and it happened with Keane, as well as others, when Johnson scored for Forest on Sunday.
How hard is it for players to stay switched on and be alert to absolutely everything?
The best defenders in the world never switch off, they never go to sleep and they’re always wired on to everything that’s happening on the pitch.
Everton don’t have any players who are anywhere near that level.
