Peter Crouch makes Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang admission ahead of Everton v Chelsea
Peter Crouch is baffled by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s continued absence for Chelsea as they take on Everton on Saturday, 18 March.
The former Arsenal and Barcelona striker has featured fleetingly for Graham Potter’s side and Crouch has not even seen him in action for the Blues.
He believes that the Chelsea front line is underperforming and Sean Dyche will be looking to take advantage of it.
Crouch told Paddy Power, “Kai Havertz is their leading scorer but he needs more around him. Others need to contribute – what the hell has happened to Aubameyang?
“And you’d probably have expected more from Raheem Sterling too. Joao Felix has looked class since coming in, and I really like him, but the goals haven’t happened.
“Everton have a decent midfield with Amadou Onana, Idrissa Gueye and Abdoulaye Doucoure. they’ll have to get about Chelsea and I could see them making a few fouls.”

Dyche can set his teams up to be notoriously hard to beat and he’s going to do the same thing at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have an array of attacking talent and have been on the opposite end of the spectrum in January as compared to Everton.
While the London club spent a record outlay in the winter window, the Toffees failed to sign any player and ended the month weaker than they began it.
Anthony Gordon left for Newcastle and they failed to replace him despite making a colossal amount of money from his sale.
It remains to be seen whether or not the board backs Dyche in the summer properly as they’ve been extremely notorious in the past.
For now, the manager will be focusing on Chelsea and how to get his team ready for that game.
