Seven Chelsea players could now miss Everton clash through injury, updates issued on N'golo Kante and Mason Mount
Chelsea could have as many as seven players missing in action for their game against Everton on Saturday, 18 March, due to injury.
According to injury expert Ben Dinnery, Edouard Mendy, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and N’Golo Kante are facing late fitness tests.
Armando Broja, Thiago Silva and Cesar Azpilicueta will also not be available and Graham Potter has recently ruled Mason Mount out as well.
He said, via the Metro, “Mason has been struggling a little bit with his pubic bone. He wasn’t 100 per cent in the last game, he’s still not quite there. So he’ll miss the England camp as well.”
Good time to play them
Chelsea do not have two of their first-choice defenders and one of their best midfielders available for the game.

Kante is also a menace to play against and the fact that he’s not likely to play is a benefit for Sean Dyche as he’ll look to get his midfielders to be assertive and not allow the hosts to attack from the middle.
Hopefully, the players are up for it as they were against Arsenal as it’s not going to be easy given the gulf in class between the two teams.
Chelsea might be struggling under Graham Potter but they’ve got one of the most expensive squads of all time and will go into this one as favourites.
Everton are going to be playing on the counter attack and are likely to making things as difficult as they can for the hosts.
Peter Crouch has recalled his experiences of playing under Dyche and has predicted the result of this game and it seems hard to disagree with him.
