Everton make pledge for new accounts after Alisher Usmanov catastrophe

Everton have pledged to release their latest accounts at Companies House and have until Friday to do so, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper has reported in its print edition [25 March, pg 115] that they have been released to the Premier League, who have since handed out a disciplinary charge.

It is likely to include the loss of Alisher Usmanov, as cutting ties with his sponsorship involvements likely having a “catastrophic” effect on the accounts.

With even more losses expected, it makes sense now that no money was spent in the January transfer window after signing the likes of Dele Alli the year before.

The Premier League have already seen the accounts, but it will no doubt be like bombshell news once they drop to the public on Friday, so brace yourselves.

Catastrophe.

Things are just going from bad to worst right now at Everton.

When it was looking as though things were on the up with fresh investment from MSP Sports Capital, that now looks unlikely and a Premier League charge may be on the horizon.

Points deductions, large fines and transfer bans are just three of the possible outcomes in this case, although none of the above may actually happen, and we will have to wait months for the answer.

All this does is just shine the spotlight brighter on Farhad Moshiri who has mismanaged this great football club in extraordinary measures, with poor spending top of the agenda.

What will Sean Dyche be thinking of this? All this does is make relegation even more dreadful with even worst ramifications for the club from top to bottom.

Everton fans are never surprised by news like this dropping anymore, that is just the mess that has been created, and something needs to change very quick before this club is run into the ground.
