Final concrete poured at Bramley-Moore Dock as Everton prepare for next stage of new stadium build
Everton have seen the latest stage of their new stadium build completed at Bramley-Moore Dock as the final concrete was poured, according to the Daily Mail.
The Toffees are set to move in to their new stadium during the 2024/25 season, as they leave Goodison Park for a new 53,000 seater stadium in the city.
And according to Sports Agenda (27 March), the physical structure of the stadium is now complete and work on the mechanical, electrical and plumbing has already begun.

The stadium is unlikely to be ready for the team to move in for the opening of that season, but the hope is that they will be able to step in fairly quickly.
Excellent
While things on the pitch are beginning to look up for Everton with Sean Dyche at the helm and the team moving away from a relegation battle, things off the pitch haven’t been great.
The board and the fans are still at logger heads and that doesn’t seem to be changing any time soon, and with the club being charged for potential financial breaches last week the need for investment is clearly even greater.
But with relegation far from avoided at this point, the prospect of moving into the new stadium as a Championship club is still rearing it’s ugly head and simply has to be avoided.

Everton don’t have the money to push this build through without Premier League status and Farhad Moshiri is unlikely to want to stick around and pump his own cash into it if he wants to leave the club.
It’s a very precarious position that we find ourselves in, but things will turn on their head should we avoid the drop under Dyche and it’s positive that the stadium is ploughing along in spite of it all.
