Everton let Chris Sutton down after BBC share Premier League predictions table
Everton are three places below in the Premier League table than what Chris Sutton’s predictions would’ve seen them be at over the course of the season.
Ahead of every gameweek, the BBC ask the former Chelsea striker to predict all the fixtures and in his view, the Toffees should have been in 12th place on the table with 30 points.
However, they are three places below and four points worse off than what Sutton’s table looks like – which would’ve seen them further away from relegation trouble.

One game at a time?
While Sean Dyche will have a points target for this season, he certainly will not be asking his players to do anything else than take it one game at a time.
They’ve done well with that approach thus far and gotten out of the relegation zone so they’ve got to keep building on that.
There have been improvements in a number of players and it seems like they have responded well to Dyche’s methods in training.

He’s also made the decision to axe Conor Coady and bring back Michael Keane to the fold and that’s certainly worked while James Tarkowski has been one of the best defenders in the league since Dyche took over.
Amadou Onana, Abdoulaye Doucoure and even Dwight McNeil seem to be enjoying their football more than they were under Frank Lampard.
It remains to be seen how Everton fare against Spurs who will be without Antonio Conte and may look to play with their shackles off.
