Ray Parlour predicts result of Everton Premier League clash v Tottenham
Ray Parlour has backed Everton to pick up a precious point against Tottenham when the two sides meet at Goodison Park on Monday evening.
The Toffees are now unbeaten in three matches and are coming off an impressive 2-2 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Parlour has brandished Spurs’ managerial situation as a “shambles’ and feels the partisan home support could have an impact at Goodison Park.
“It’s a huge game and Goodison will be bouncing,” said Parlour (talkSPORT Breakfast, 07:41, 31 March).
“The crowd are going to play their part, I think Sean Dyche has already said that. Spurs are a bit of a shambles at the moment with the manager situation.
“I do think they’ll get something out of this game. I’ll go for a 1-1 draw, Harry Kane to score.”

Positive
There’s certainly a positive feeling around Everton heading into this fixture. Sean Dyche’s side have responded superbly to the 4-0 hammering at Arsenal and now look like a team who are completely behind the manager and his ideas.
Much has been made of Toffees’ difficult run-in, but, considering their current form, they will fancy their chances against pretty much anyone who makes the trip to Goodison Park. It’s hard to predict this clash against Spurs. Antonio Conte’s departure could see the players react in one of two ways.
The shackles could come off and we could see Tottenham finally play an expansive style of football, or we could see the players hide from taking responsibility. With Conte’s backroom staff still in place, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the North Londoners adopt a similar pragmatic style.
With a trip to Manchester United on the horizon, this is a game which Dyche will be targeting.
