Premier League sent legal warnings as Everton case takes new twist
The Premier League have been sent warnings that they could face multiple legal claims if they do not deal with the latest Everton referral charge this season, according to the Daily Mail.
It has been reported that the Toffees are under risk of a point deduction with the Premier League hopeful of completing their disciplinary case against the club within months.
Six top-flight clubs are understood to have written to the league demanding answers after combined losses of £371million over the past three years at the time of the charge.

Greater transparency has been demanded, with the Everton saga taking new twists every other day, it seems.
The Premier League are said to have informally responded to the demands to express their confidence that it will be sorted and finalised before the 28th of May.

Twists.
This is threatening to get nasty now with clubs demanding answers.
It is said that this charge, which does span back to last season too could now effect two separate relegation battles with Leeds United and Burnley voicing their concerns.
Now, six clubs have done the same and it is likely to be the clubs currently in and around this hectic relegation battle in the Premier League that includes up to eight clubs.
Everton could be in big trouble if the pressure continues to rise with answers being demanded too, with the Premier League being forced into being transparent with multiple clubs.
With points deductions and transfer bans on the table as potential outcomes, this unprecedented charge could lead to absolutely anything, with no previous example to lean back on.
Could that mean that Everton are made an example? Farhad Moshiri would have serious questions to ask if that was to be the case and it resulted in relegation.
Legal warnings are never good news, and the Premier League will want to close this sooner rather than later.
