BBC pundit gushes over Everton defender Michael Keane in Tottenham Hotspur Premier League clash
Stephen Warnock was thrilled with the defending of Everton ace Michael Keane in the first half of the Premier League clash v Tottenham Hotspur.
The 30-year-old made a clearance off the line as it looked like Harry Kane broke the deadlock for Spurs in the first half.
However, the centre-back put his body on the line and bailed Jordan Pickford out who looked all set to concede a goal.

Speaking on the Premier League world feed, Warnock, a BBC pundit said [03/04, 20:10], “He saves a definite goal here. Oustanding defending from Michael Keane.”
Unlikely hero
Keane’s future at Everton looked done until Sean Dyche arrived at the helm and he’s now made the Englishman a regular starter.
He may not be the best performer or the most improved player under Dyche, but he certainly knows the manager’s system well.
This looked like a sure-shot goal for Spurs but somehow the 30-year-old managed to deny him an early goal – much to the delight of the home crowd.

Keane and James Tarkowski look like a really solid pair at the heart of the Toffees’ defence and Dyche will be looking for a solid second half from his side.
Spurs are very much there for the taking and do not look pretty confident so Everton need to capitalise on it and take giant steps towards securing survival.
There is a lot going on off the pitch for the club and it’s important that the players perform to make fans enjoy what’s happening on it.
