Sean Dyche won’t be so keen on working with Alfredo Morelos as Everton transfer speculation emerges
Everton are reportedly waiting in the wings to sign Rangers forward Alfredo Morelos who looks set to leave Ibrox this summer, but Sean Dyche won’t be so keen on working with the striker.
A report from TEAMtalk emerged on Tuesday [4 April] revealing that several clubs are keen on signing the Colombian striker this summer, with his Rangers future in jeopardy, including Wolves, Crystal Palace, Sevilla and Villarreal.
The Toffees have been namechecked as one of the clubs interested in signing the 26-year-old striker who is also already in talks over a potential free transfer with the two Spanish clubs, according to the report.

It is no secret that the Toffees and Dyche will be desperately scouring the market for attacking quality, especially up front given the frustrating injury troubles of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and the struggling Neal Maupay reportedly set to leave after struggling to set Goodison Park alight since his summer move from Brighton.
At the time of writing, Everton are the joint-lowest scorers in the Barclays Premier League this season, registering just 23 goals from 29 games hence their lowly position in the league table, and a potentially damaging drop to the Championship next season.
It is why the Toffees are linked with several striking names this season and now Rangers striker Morelos is the latest to be linked with a move to Goodison Park with the Colombian set to call time on his six-year stint at Ibrox this summer.
The 26-year-old has proven a tremendous source of goals for the Gers throughout his time at the club registering a resounding 122 goals for the Gers in 263 games, making him an ideal bet for Everton to bank on this summer.
However, there will be huge doubts about the Colombian ace working with Dyche given the former Burnley coach’s huge demands for his strikers to work their socks off for him.
And that is a commodity Morelos certainly struggles in, with the Ibrox hitman constantly being criticised for his poor attitude when things don’t go his way and lack of commitment in getting into tip-top shape for Rangers at times.
Characteristics which Dyche will be not so keen to possess in his Everton squad for next season, providing they stay in the Premier League next season.
The former Burnley boss demands hard work, 100% match fitness and a grand desire to adhere to his philosophy and Morelos’ controversial characteristics mean he may not seem a good fit for Everton considering his qualities in front of goal.

There are plenty more irons in the fray for Everton to look at when trying to sign strikers this summer, and considering the attraction that Morelos brings when scoring goals, his antics on and off the field may bring negative attention to a club in desperate need of steering clear of them.
Morelos will be a no-go zone for Dyche.
