Yerry Mina and Tom Davies could leave for nothing as Everton transfer news emerges
Everton duo Yerry Mina and Tom Davies could be set to leave Goodison Park on a free this summer, according to The Mirror.
Davies has been a fixture of the first-team squad at Goodison Park since 2016 and has racked up 176 senior appearances for the club, but his contract is set to expire in the summer and he is only receiving late cameos off the bench from Sean Dyche.
Mina, 28, who joined for a big-money fee of £27.2m in 2018, is yet to feature under Dyche since his appointment because of constant injury niggles and has only made three Premier League starts all season.

“Mina looks set to leave when his contract is up while Davies, one of the club’s bright young stars who has largely featured as a sub under Dyche, could also leave on a free,” The Mirror [8 April, page 65] reports.
Time to go
Out of all the experienced heads at Goodison Park primed to leave because of expiring contracts, Mina’s situation is arguably the most depressing and urgent in terms of a release as his lack of availability and durability when the club have needed him most has been incredibly frustrating.
The Colombian defender joined the Toffees to much acclaim and excitement upon his move from Barcelona, but unfortunately, he’s rather proven to be an unreliable head, despite making such massive improvements to the team when he does start.

With Dyche looking to refresh his squad this summer, with more reliable players, Mina is one of the players guaranteed to depart this summer.
Davies, on the other hand, has been a casualty and a victim of his own early hype when he broke through on the scene seven years ago.
Since then, it just hasn’t happened for the 24-year-old and both he and Everton will be desperate for a new lease of life apart. Former Everton striker Kevin Campbell believes the “ship might have sailed” for Davies to remain at Goodison and rightly so.
It’s clear the Goodison Park academy star desperately needs to find himself elsewhere as Dyche doesn’t deem him good enough to start games under him since his appointment. Time to go for both players.
