Everton midfielder Isaac Price to join Standard Liege on four-year contract with transfer close
Everton midfielder Isaac Price is reportedly set to sign a four-year contract at Standard Liege as he looks to seal his permanent Goodison Park exit.
According to Belgian media outlet DH Les Sports [11 April], the transfer could go ahead soon with the 19-year-old not keen on signing a new deal at Goodison Park.
The midfielder decided that the Toffees aren’t the right club for him and despite being in talks over a new deal, he wants out of Merseyside.

End of an era
Price’s been at one club his entire career and it seemed that he had intentions of trying to make it at Everton.
He was rated highly by Frank Lampard and even made a few appearances for the senior side including in the Premier League last season.
This term, many expected him to kick on and try to make a spot on the matchday squad his own but he’s clearly not done that.

Everton will certainly be due for compensation as they’ve trained him for the entirety of his amateur career and once that’s sorted, the move will be announced.
Fans would’ve liked to see one of their own make it big, but in Price’s case, unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be.
There will certainly be some eyeballs on him as he’s moving to Liege and is expected to play for the first team there and may even dream of returning to the United Kingdom in the future.
