Gabby Agbonlahor drops Everton relegation prediction in talkSPORT clip
Gabby Agbonlahor has backed Everton to avoid relegation at the expense of Leicester, Nottingham Forest and Southampton.
Sean Dyche’s side are winless in three matches and are currently level on points with 18th-placed Forest, having each played 30 matches.
Speaking in a talkSPORT video clip, the former Aston Villa striker has backed the Toffees to “dig” out results at home to secure their league status.

“I think Leicester [to be 18th], I do. I don’t care about the name, everyone says look who is down there,” said Agbonlahor (talkSPORT, 13 April).
“Bournemouth can fight out a result and put everything into a game and get a result.
“Teams like Bournemouth, Everton, Leeds, they will dig out results at home.”
Grind it out
Despite Everton being winless in three matches, it’s important to realise who they’ve been coming up against. Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United constitute a fairly hard run of fixtures for the Toffees and Dyche will be delighted with two points from those three fixtures.
Fulham make the trip to Merseyside on Saturday and it’s a golden chance for Everton to get back on track and put three points on the board. The West Londoners have enjoyed a superb return to the Premier League but would not like the season to come to a close as soon as possible.

They’ve lost their last four matches and are stagnating in midtable. Any outside hopes they had of a European finish have now diminished. Essentially, they’ve got nothing to play for at present. With Everton performing well, this is a game they have to be winning.
Anything less than three points will leave the Toffees firmly entrenched in the relegation battle once again.
