Joaquin Correa expected to quit Inter Milan as Everton make approaches to sign Argentina forward
Everton continue to be linked with a move for Inter Milan’s Joaquin Correa, according to the latest from Tutto Mercato Web.
The 28-year-old attacker is deemed to be surplus to requirements at the San Siro with a potential move to the Premier League mooted.
Correa was initially on loan at Inter from Lazio but made a permanent switch to the Nerazurri last summer.
The feature from the Italian outlet stated that Everton have already made enquiries regarding the Argentina international with an potential transfer obviously being dependent on Sean Dyche’s side retaining their top-flight status.

Evertonians will be encouraged that activity on recruitment is ongoing in the background but the immediate priority for all at the club will be to secure Premier League survival as soon as possible.
Paucity of attacking options
Such is the need for more firepower, Everton have been linked with plenty of strikers in recent times, and Correa is another interesting contender.
Despite not making a real breakthrough in Simone Inzaghi’s squad, there is enough to suggest that he has the quality to make an impact on Merseyside.
That has to be balanced with his meagre goal return in Serie A as well as having no prior experience in England.
As with all transfers, it is a case of risk and reward but Everton should be mindful of the required fee to land the Argentine.
The Toffees will be held to a hard bargain by most clubs due to the paucity of attacking options at Goodison at present but that doesn’t mean paying any price and in the case of Correa, anything around £20million would be too much.
His price tag would need to reflect his present situation at Inter as well as his track record in recent seasons.
