Dele Alli sends new message today as Everton lose in Premier League v Fulham
Dele Alli has broken his silence with a new message on social media after Everton crashed to a damaging defeat against Fulham in the Premier League.
The English playmaker has confirmed his surgery on an injury problem with his season now officially over after the failed loan spell at Besiktas.
Alex Iwobi was among those to respond straight after the 3-1 defeat to the Cottagers that left the Toffees with the possibility of ending the week in the relegation zone.

Writing on his personal Instagram account, Alli did not time his message at all, although Iwobi did respond instantly after the full-time whistle against Fulham.
“Surgery done, all successful and okay,” he wrote. “Thank you to everyone of you who has sent me messages of support.
“Unfortunately, this means my season has come to an end. I want to take the time to say a big thank you to you Besiktas supporters for all the love that you have showed me whilst being at the club.
“It’s been a tough few weeks and I want to ensure I’m doing everything I can to focus fully on my recovery. I’m gonna take a break from socials, hit my recovery hard, and come at full strength. I will be back when I’m ready. See you all soon.”

Awful.
Whoever told Alli to do this is just another example of his awful decision-making.
With relegation fears growing again, this message could have waited until tomorrow, not five minutes after the full-time whistle had gone at Goodison Park.
Alli could not have played for Everton this season anyway after his spell in Turkey, so the injury could be the final development we see of his career in Merseyside.
Sean Dyche insisted that he cannot control what his players do but with the likes of Iwobi going straight on social media after this defeat is embarrassing.
Everton were not good enough today and accepted their fate far too easily.
Hopefully, Nottingham Forest continue their dismal form too and leave the door open again, with dropping into the bottom three not on our agenda this weekend.
The sooner this saga is over the better, with this just another example of shocking strategy in the Goodison Park boardroom – who on earth signed off on this?
