Everton winger Dwight McNeil stuns BT Sport pundit Rachel Brown-Finnis v Fulham
Everton winger Dwight McNeil has stunned BT Sport pundit Rachel Brown-Finnis with his “technically perfect” goal in the defeat against Fulham on Saturday (15 April).
McNeil fired the ball home at Goodison Park in the 35th minute, 13 minutes after Harrison Reed scored the opener for the visitors.
The attacker is now his club’s joint-top league scorer this season with four goals, with the Toffees remaining in a fierce relegation battle, which was not helped today.

“Dwight McNeil was on the right-hand side, cut in centrally, picked up the ball from James Garner,” Brown-Finnis said live on BT Sport Score.
“Just took a lovely touch, went beyond the midfield from Fulham and hit a pure strike, low and hard, across the goalkeeper that rippled into that side netting.
“He absolutely drilled it, technically perfect from Dwight McNeil, and that has got Everton fans back on their feet.”

Go-to player
McNeil has been Dyche’s go-to man since the manager replaced Frank Lampard in the dugout earlier this season, with the duo having been reunited after previously working together at Burnley.
And the winger certainly injected some much-needed life into the tense Goodison Park crowd, who had watched their side go 1-0 down to Fulham 13 minutes before.
As mentioned, McNeil is now Everton’s joint-top Premier League goalscorer this season with just four goals.
The low tally proves just how much the club have struggled going forward, as does the fact he is a winger, with Everton’s strikers really struggling in front of goal.
They desperately need McNeil and his teammates to step up in the final weeks of the Premier League as the Toffees look to secure their safety this season, having only just survived last time out.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s injury struggles have not helped at all, neither has the sale of star striker Richarlison to Tottenham, a player which the club has failed to replace.
