Super Computer makes Everton relegation prediction in Premier League

Everton now stand a 61% chance of being relegated from the Premier League this season after the 3-1 loss against Fulham, according to FiveThirtyEight.

The online supercomputer has backed the Toffees to drop into the Championship after crashing to another defeat on Saturday 15 April at Goodison Park.

It is predicted that Southampton and Nottingham Forest will join Everton, with Leicester backed to get out of danger by two points, with Leeds next to survive.

Saturday’s defeat was very damaging, but Leicester and Southampton also losing kept Everton outside of the bottom three for now ahead of today.

Nottingham Forest take on Manchester United later, and if they avoid defeat, Sean Dyche will see his side drop into the dreaded zone once again.

Everton

Shocker.

After going one goal behind, Everton responded perfectly until Dwight McNeil found the equaliser and then that should have pushed them on even further.

That didn’t happen though, and after coming out for the second half, the Toffees collapsed and that saw Fulham take advantage through Dan James and Harry Wilson.

Everton missed Amadou Onana and Abdoulaye Doucoure massively in midfield, and the troubles in the final third continued once again despite Neal Maupay coming in.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has returned to training and hopefully, his return to fitness can bring some wins and important points towards Premier League survival.

It is not looking great right now, but there are many reasons around the corner to remain positive ahead of the upcoming games with Crystal Palace and Newcastle.

Everton are still in with a huge shot of Premier League survival, it is still in their hands, that has to be the message at Finch Farm every single day.
