Everton news from Sky Sports is finally positive – Finance Expert
We’re delighted to welcome football finance expert Dr Daniel Plumley as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Everton...
Dan Plumley has insisted that imminent investment for the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium is the positive news that Everton will have been desperately waiting for.
The finance expert admitted that is what the club will have been striving for given some of the issues that has surrounded the actual finances of the project.
It comes after Sky Sports reported on Tuesday 18 April that full stadium funding was on the verge of completion for Farhad Moshiri and the Toffees.

“That line is a positive,” he exclusively told Goodison News.
“How that looks, we don’t quite know at the minute as it is brand new, but that’s what you are striving for given some of the issues with the stadium. If that is the case, that seems to be a slight bit of positive news for the club this morning.”

Finally.
Moshiri has funded this project up until now, but he has made it no secret that he has been looking for other strands of investment to take the new stadium forward.
With that now coming, it looks as though any doubt that had emerged over the development can disappear, with nothing left to worry about in that area once this is announced.
Of course, worry is never too far away elsewhere at Everton with other financial troubles and the impending threat of Premier League relegation on the pitch.
That is certainly something to watch, but right now, let’s celebrate the positives – it doesn’t happen often.
