Done deal: Sean McAllister signs new Everton contract
Everton under-21s midfielder Sean McAllister has expressed his desire to land a loan deal after signing a new contract with the Toffees.
The 20-year-old joined the Merseyside outfit from Irish Premiership club Dungannon Swifts in the summer of 2019.
McAllister, who has recently trained with the senior players, has signed a new deal until the end of June 2024, as confirmed by Everton’s official website on 19 April.

“I have trained a few times with the senior side, and I hope to get a few more in,” said McAllister, as quoted by the official Everton website.
“But I want to keep impressing with the Under-21s and maybe get a loan deal if one comes, too.”

Exciting prospect
McAllister looks certain to be a top player for the near future, with the 20-year-old registering three goals and seven assists in all competitions this season.
He has also been entrusted with the captain’s armband for Everton’s under-21s in recent times, in what is a strong sign of his leadership abilities, something that the Toffees have been lacking in the current campaign.
The Northern Irishman is also a versatile player, a hugely beneficial trait for any Premier League club in the modern game.
While he is training with the first team, opportunities to actually join them on the pitch this season remain unlikely given their struggles and worrying position in the Premier League.
But Sean Dyche has shown he is willing to let some youngsters break into the first team, with McAllister certain to be in the picture if the Toffees somehow manage to completely stave off the relegation threat in the coming weeks.
