Jim White moots Everton sack for Sean Dyche after ‘awful’ defeat, talkSPORT pundit reacts live on air
Danny Murphy believes Sean Dyche has given Everton a chance to stay in the Premier League despite an “awful” display against Fulham on Saturday (15 April).
The Toffees slipped to 17th in the table after the disappointing 3-1 defeat to the Cottagers at Goodison Park.
Following the loss, former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy has brushed off suggestions that Dyche could be sacked by Everton before the end of the campaign.

“Do you think we will see a few more casualties in the Premier League before now and the last day of the season?” Jim White asked Murphy live on talkSPORT.
Murphy replied: “No. Sean Dyche has done really well. Everton have changed [under Dyche].
“Apart from that awful performance at the weekend when he tried to change the formation and they got done by Fulham; they took Fulham for granted I thought. He’s given them a chance, Dyche has done well.”

Foolish move
It would be a foolish move to remove Dyche from his post, not only because he has done a decent job since coming into the dugout, but also because it would be near-impossible to find a perfect replacement.
The Toffees only have seven Premier League matches remaining this season, with the club in a tense battle for their safety in the division.
Seven matches may seem like a lot in the wider scheme of things, but Everton are rapidly running out of time to pick up some much-needed points in their fight for survival.
The home loss to Fulham was a massive blow, considering that it not only came at Goodison Park but also because the Cottagers were on a very poor run of form going into the game.
But the powers that be at the Merseyside club will hopefully see the sense in sticking with Dyche, who has managed to clinch some huge results in his brief reign so far.
