Everton lead all Premier League clubs as £415,000 reveal emerges
Everton have accumulated the most fines out of any Premier League club this season at £415,000, The Athletic have revealed.
The report [21 April] reveals that clubs across the Premier League and EFL have been hit with fines by the Football Association (FA) amounting to a whopping £2.6million during the current 2022/23 campaign.
And out of all English top-flight clubs, the Toffees have incurred the most fines paying £415,000 to the Football Association – with Manchester City (£335,000) and Manchester United (£252,000) receiving the second and third highest fine totals.

Trouble
Given the club’s financial troubles as we’ve become accustomed to reading over the past few months, it seems funny that the only table of Premier League clubs Everton seem to lead this season is in the amount of fines accumulated.
In fact, if there was a table as to how much financial losses have been taken by English top-flight clubs over the past year, you’d bet your house the Merseysiders would be among those leaders also.

Just goes to show the sorry state Everton find themselves both on and off the pitch. They can’t seem to hold their nerve together on the pitch as much as they struggle to do so off it which doesn’t make pleasing reading for any of the Toffees faithful.
Now we know where much of the club’s funds go towards too, paying needless fines where such money can be better utilised elsewhere. Everton is under a financial curse right now, and the latest report just further highlights how much pressure the board are under to drag the club back into financial prosperity.
Or maybe Moshiri will hand it off to potential new owners to fix, seeing as he can’t seem to do it himself. Incompetent.
