Everton make contact with El Bilal Toure amid £35m ‘hot’ transfer development
Everton are interested in signing UD Almería striker El Bilal Toure along with a number of European sides, according to GOAL.
The 21-year-old forward has six goals and two assists in La Liga during the 2022/23 season and it’s believed the Toffees, along with Wolverhampton Wanderers, are showing interest ahead of what will be a “hot” summer on the transfer front (GOAL, 20 April).
It’s understood Everton have already contacted the player’s representatives, with Almeria talks set to take place in the summer.

The Mali striker is believed to be available for £35million and is contracted to the La Liga club until the summer of 2028.
Exciting
The 21-year-old certainly seems like an exciting prospect. He’s been hitting the back of the net in one of Europe’s best leagues and is still at an age where he can develop further. Furthermore, a new striker is an absolute requirement at Goodison Park.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin cannot stay fit, Neal Maupay has been a terrible addition and Ellis Simms is still trying to find his level. However, as we all know, Everton’s Premier League status is firmly at risk after back-to-back Premier League defeats.

Much of the transfer preparations at Goodison Park will have to take a back seat until the end of the season. Planning for a Premier League season requires a completely different level of funding compared to the second tier.
It’s highly unlikely the Toffees will be able to spend £35million if they are relegated – so, at present, all these rumours should be taken with a fairly large pinch of salt.
