Newcastle ace Anthony Gordon sends Instagram message ahead of Premier League reunion with former club Everton

Newcastle attacker Anthony Gordon is looking forward to a reunion with Everton as he took to Instagram to send a message.

The English attacker became one of the Toffees’ most expensive exports in the January transfer window as he left for St James’ Park.

While Gordon has not been a prominent figure in the first team, he has seen his side establish themselves in the top four and appear to be in a good place to secure Champions League qualification.

He wrote on his Instagram story, “See you Thursday.”

Spoil the party

Everton have been party poopers in the past and this time, they certainly need to be it again as their Premier League status is on the line.

It’s not going to be easy especially after the Magpies are riding high as they beat fellow top-four candidates Tottenham Hotspur by a 6-1 scoreline.

The Toffees need to make the most of their games at Goodison Park and this is not one where a draw is beyond reach.

Everton

With Dominic Calvert-Lewin now back, they look like a better team going forward and offer more of a threat on the break as well.

Sean Dyche has been in this situation before and former players are backing him to keep the Toffees up, but it’s not going to be an easy job.

However, if he can beat one of the in-form teams or at least pick up a point, it’ll go a long way towards guiding his side to safety.
